Monday, September 30, is National Truth and Reconciliation Day.  To prepare our hearts for re-engaging with this ongoing journey of reflection, we hope that we will worship in our Orange Shirts on Sunday, September 29.  Some of us will remember the day Eddy Charlie visited St. Matthias and told us his story.  Like so many others, Eddy found being in a church building was painful and difficult, but he accepted our invitation and gave us an incredible opportunity to consider the importance of sacrifice for teaching important lessons.  

In July, Mary and Bob invited the congregation to share in their joy.  What a day!  As their families came together to celebrate and participate, we had many opportunities to reflect on the the power of love.  With their permission, we're going to share this lovely photo on our "Marriage" page in the ministries section of the website, but we're struggling to "keep" the photo loaded on the page.  Meanwhile, enjoy this photo!!
