Christmas at St. Matthias

All the blessings of hope, peace, joy and love be with you today and every day!  

We wanted to summarize upcoming community worship and social events.

Sunday, December 22, 10 am in the Church:  our traditional Lessons and Carols service https://www.stmatthiasvictoria.ca/events/lessons-and-carols--738/2024-12-22

Tuesday, December 24, Christmas Eve 7 pm, Eucharist.  Traditionally, this service opens with candle light and song.  No pageant, but we welcome all ages (we particularly welcome those young enough to "wonder and wander") and all who feel inclined to be among our cheerful community.  

Christmas Day we won't have a formal worship in the church. (Our website will be updated to indicate Christmas Day services in our neighbouring parishes.)  Instead, you might want to join our Christmas Dinner in the hall.  For the third year in a row, this is a lovely opportunity to join with others -- you might want to help or simply bring your smile and enjoy the meal! https://www.stmatthiasvictoria.ca/events/christmas-dinner/2024-12-25
