Note from the Incumbent
I wanted to share with you a conversation that will be coming up in the life of St. Matthias. As you may know, we will be sharing a few upcoming worship services with St Mary's Oak Bay. This has led to the question about whether we might want to share more of our life together. To start to answer that question, we will be having a few conversations. The first will be a joint Parish Council meeting so that the leadership of the two communities can start to discuss what the gifts and challenges of this kind of dialogue might be. We will follow that up with time after church on Nov 3rd to talk as a whole congregation about the possibilities. There is no pressure at all in these conversations. Just an invitation to see where the Spirit might lead us as we look to the future. If you have any questions about this, please do not hesitate to be in touch with myself or our Wardens. With gratitude, Meagan+ |
