On Sunday, parishioner John Jordan will speak at worship about the work being done in our partner parish in Rwanda. His power point presentation will have video of their enthusiastic worship service and photos of our nursery schools and support for poor mothers.
After the service, at coffee time, John will show a 10min video of the wider scale of the work of Rwanda Rising including several personal testimonies from grateful beneficiaries. See up close the power of God's work at our hands.
John has been actively engaged in this incredible work for more than ten years, and St. Matthias people have gladly lent support to his effort. One of the most exciting aspects is hearing from John about how local people are now taking on more of the continuing work of on-site leadership. "... more than we can ask or imagine!"
