Plan for Slower Travel: Times Colonist 10K is April 27th

Dear friends,  the annual Times Colonist 10K is tomorrow, Sunday, April 27th.  It's a wonderful occasion, and if you're running or walking in the event, we wish you joy, good exercise, and an avoidance of blisters, sprains or negative things!  

If, however, you'll be joining us at church (really fast runners could do both, we know!), please plan for traffic delays / obstruction, particularly in the James Bay, Beacon Hill and May Street- Dallas Road neighbourhoods.  The race starts close to the Legislature and makes its way along the water to Memorial Crescent (by the Ross Bay Cemetery), then proceeds up May Street.  

Apparently intersections will be closed, with traffic directed by race volunteers to await suitable pauses -- you know the drill!
