Financial Update

Hi Parishioners of St Matthias,

We would like to provide a glimpse of St Matthias' 2019 financial activity as of August 31, 2019. Our envelope giving's have increased compared to budget, while open offerings are down; overall the offerings are slightly below budget. Attic Treasures and programs such as Chapel Gallery (listed under other income) and music performances have resulted in larger than anticipated contributions. The cash outlays have all been less than budgeted, in particular building & grounds and payroll.  Financial items considered; the current shortfall is approximately about half of our budgeted shortfall. Although we have done better than budgeted there is always room for additional improvement and growth. If you any questions or would like to attend our discussions, please feel free to come to our next Parish Council meeting on October 22nd or contact your Rector or wardens.
