Chapel Gallery Opening: In Light of Winter

Every Chapel Gallery Opening is wonderful, thought-provoking and exciting.  Last Friday, November 22nd, however, demonstrated yet another possibility.  This is the first exhibit from a Collective ...  

The Chapel Gallery always invites artists to offer an Artist's Talk at the opening.  Because the Zebra Art Collective is, in fact, a collaborative community of artists, we heard about the inspiration behind the works plus a number of observations about the power and joy of collaboration.  Artists work individually, but members of the Zebra Art Collective offer each other encouragement, suggestions, insights, and friendship.  Reflecting on the nature of light as the winter solstice approaches, the Artist's Talk seemed particularly apt.  

Did you miss the Opening?  Were you able to attend the Opening, but wish you had more time to savour the works?  You still have time to see this incredible exhibit.  It runs through Saturday, December 14th.  Gallery hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, from 10 am to 2 pm.  An artist is in attendance each day of this exhibit.
