Baptism is the rite of initiation for Christians – it’s how you formally become a Christian. In the Anglican tradition both adults and children of adult Christians are welcome to be baptised. Prior to baptism there is usually some education. This is relatively short for parents bringing their children for baptism. For adults there may be several months of being a catechumen during which one is partnered up with a sponsor and their is an introduction to the faith the clergy and others. THE FLOWER CALENDAR
The ‘Flower Calendar’ at the back of the church supports the Sanctuary Guild while providing parishioners an opportunity to honour a special person by purchasing flowers for the altar in their name.
